From writing and designing email newsletters to developing student and alumni stories, I create content that connects with diverse audiences and showcases life at the university.
Alongside managing email and website content, as well as LSBU's Unibuddy student community, I contribute to cross-university campaign planning and the delivery of student events.
My role combines creative thinking with hands-on delivery, turning ideas into meaningful content, campaigns and experiences that strengthen the connection between LSBU and its students.

Email newsletters are a big part of my day-to-day marketing work at LSBU, from shaping the content and copy through to designing the layout and building the final campaign. For our recent October Open Day campaign, I developed a series of email headers loosely inspired by football, using a familiar visual language to give the campaign a younger, more energetic feel. The idea was to make the emails stand out in students’ inboxes while still feeling like part of the wider LSBU campaign.
Alongside the copy and layout, I create the digital content that gives our email campaigns their personality. For the October Open Day campaign, I leaned into the football theme by designing player cards for our alumni speakers, a match-style line-up and a magazine-inspired quiz. The aim was to make the information feel less like standard university marketing and more like something students would actually want to interact with.

I also write and upload content for the LSBU website using Squiz Matrix, creating student stories that show what makes the university unique through the experiences of its community. I enjoy finding the details that make each person’s story interesting and turning them into engaging pieces that give prospective students a feel for life at LSBU.
